LifeCircles is pleased to welcome Dr. Jeff Crandle, to our Holland team.
Doctor Crandle was born in Grand Rapids, MI, but spent most of his childhood in Parchment, Michigan, a small town just north of Kalamazoo. After graduating from Parchment High School he attended Calvin College and earned a BA in natural science.
After graduating college, Dr. Crandle moved to Des Moines Iowa to attend the College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery (currently named Des Moines University). It is there that he met his future wife Laura. They were married in 1984 in Laura’s hometown of Oskaloosa, Iowa.
Following a year of internship at Des Moines General Hospital, Dr. Crandle moved to Grand Rapids for a three-year family medicine residency with Grand Rapids Area Medical Education Consortium (GRAMEC). As his residency was nearing its end, he was making arrangements to work in the US Health Service on a Native American Reservation. God had other plans, however. During his senior year, Dr. Crandle attended a Teachers of Family Medicine conference in Seattle and met John Mulder, MD. The two physicians immediately hit it off and a few months later Dr. Crandle moved to the Muskegon area to join Harborwood Family Medicine. Dr. Crandle expresses gratitude for his decision, “I was blessed to serve with Harborwood for 25 years.”
Dr. Crandle retired from Harborwood Family Medicine in August 2016. He states, “Since then I have enjoyed traveling, hiking and reading. During these last few months it became clear to me that I am not ready to fully retire, and I look forward to a new challenge working with LifeCircles.”
Dr. Crandle and his wife Laura have been blessed with 32 years of marriage, 4 children and 2 grandchildren. They have resided in Ferrysberg, Michigan for 25 years. In addition to his interest in geriatric medicine, Dr. Crandle enjoys hiking, stream fishing, camping and reading.
We are fortunate to have Dr. Crandle joining our team of experienced professionals.
LifeCircles is honored that this gifted physician has decided to join our team. Please give him a warm welcome.Last Updated on August 24, 2020
