What an incredible evening of autumn celebration! On October 10th, we welcomed friends, family, and community members as we celebrated the completion of our Holland Day Center expansion. The enthusiasm and warmth of everyone who attended our ribbon-cutting ceremony made the evening truly special.
The celebration was filled with all of our fall favorites! Clique Coffee Catering Co. kept everyone cozy with seasonal lattes and specialty fall drinks, and charcuterie boards from Aperitivo offered the perfect complement to the evening. We can’t forget the beautiful balloon arches created by Ninoshka at Coqui Events & Designs LLC. A big Congratulations to Maddie, our lucky raffle winner who took home a brand new espresso maker!!
The Holland Day Center expansion adds 6,620 square feet of thoughtfully designed space to better serve our growing LifeCircles family. Our new state-of-the-art Wellness Gym features dedicated areas for physical and recreational therapy, helping our participants maintain their independence and stay active in the comfort of their community.
We’re particularly excited about how this expansion will enhance our ability to serve:
- A larger therapy space with modern equipment to support physical, occupational, and speech therapy.
- New recreational areas for social activities and community gatherings.
- Improved spaces for family education and support.
- Additional meeting rooms to better coordinate your care.
- Enhanced staff areas to support our growing team.
This investment in our Holland facility means we can welcome up to 28% more participants while maintaining the high-quality, personalized care that makes LifeCircles special. Our commitment to excellence shows – we’re proud that 92% of our participants would recommend LifeCircles to a friend or relative. We currently provide an average of 4,574 meals per month and are on track to serve more than 55,000 meals in 2024, all at no cost to our members.
This expansion comes at a critical time for Michigan families. With our state’s working-age population expected to remain flat at 37% through 2050, and Michiganders 85 and older becoming our fastest-growing age group, the burden on families providing end-of-life care continues to grow. Our enhanced facilities and services are designed to support not just our participants, but their entire family network.
